The wonderful fall colors are in full swing this weekend--- so we enjoyed them by campout in the mountains with a big group of our friends...
The camp site was stunning, and near an old deserted mining shaft.
Went on a wonderful wonderful hike ...
But the highlight was most definitely the hour of "off-roading" it took to get there. Our friends said we would need to take the 4-wheel drive cars to get to the hiking spot, little did I know what that meant... I was freaking out, but apparently Ricky is pretty great at handling rough terrain and he had a blast.
:) Yikes!
Toasting bagels over the fire... and you better believe that right after this Ricky had a s'more for breakfast. haha
